Reduce the Stress of Training at Altus Manor
Altus' Premier Crash Pad for Mobility Training

ABOUT ALTUS MANOR
Having been through Altus many times ourselves we understand the rigors and challenges of TDYs to the sprawling metropolis that is southwest Oklahoma. That's why we offer a crash pad for aircrew that provides a comfortable and supportive environment where you can rest, recharge, and focus on your training. Our facilities are designed to meet the unique needs of military crewmembers, so you can be sure that you'll have everything you need to succeed.

WHAT MAKES US A BETTER CHOICE THAN THE OTHERS?
Our crash pad features comfortable rooms with all the amenities you need to relax and recharge. In addition to attending Altus ourselves, we listened to the needs of fellow students and tailored a house to improve the experience. This aircrew owned/operated pad exists for the sole purpose of lessening the burden of training and making Altus more enjoyable.
WHAT WE OFFER
Recreation & Relaxation
Large house built in 2021 with spacious open living area. Brand new amenities including large TVs, backyard grill, and kegerator for those post-flight nights you need to decompress.
The Most Important Amenity
We decided to address the number one issue we found with the other crash pads in Altus. In May we added a third FULL bathroom. No more scrambling to get ready for work or waiting on a shower.
Convenience
Located at 2117 Longhorn Trail in the Mesquite Meadows neighborhood right outside the front gate. Get from the driveway to the squadron or gym in under 5 minutes.
Wi-Fi
Another issue we addressed was the need for fast internet. With the world running on streaming nowadays, we provide the fastest available service to make sure nobody has to deal with buffering.
Tranquility
With desks in each individual room and a large dining room table, study sessions become less of a hassle. Did we mention all the coffee you could possibly need to make it through training?
Cleaning Service
Weekly cleaning services provided. Don't worry about a thing, we will make sure everything is fresh so you just focus on enjoying your stay.

LOCAL AREA THINGS TO DO (FROM OUR OWN EXPERIENCES)
Wichita Mountains
Just about 45 minutes from Altus is the beautiful Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge. Day hikes are a great time and you're sure to come across lots of wildlife including roaming buffalo.
Fishing
For those who enjoy angling to get away from it all, the Tom Steed Reservoir (about 30 minute drive) and Medicine Park (about an hour) are good spots to check out. We caught our fair share of Catfish, Bass and Rainbow Trout and enjoyed the serenity.
OKC/Dallas
OKC is about 2 hours away, Dallas about 3. There are usually good shows/sports playing both locations. A great getaway for either a day or weekend when you have some extended down time.
